Ego Versus Self-respect: Dr. Poonam Singh The very difference between ego and self-respect is: ego is false impression of our self while Self-respect is based on real assessment of our self. Ego, demands, whatever we don’t deserve while self-respect demands, whatever we deserve. Everybody has every right to live with Self-respect but not with ego. Further, one should give respect to earn respect because we get only whatever we give. If, we will show ego to someone, then, in response, we will also get egoistical response. That’s why, it is said that ‘don’t do unto others whatever you don’t want yourself from them’.

Why do people shun us when we are need their help? Dr Poonam Singh In our happy moments, we find a lot of friends and relatives around us. But, whenever we are in difficulties, those friends and relatives, disappear. It is quite, disappointing for us. But, without any complaint, if we analyse the situation, then we will find that, it is, we ourselves, who are responsible for that problem. As per law of karma, only the agent should suffer, none else. So, people shun us. This way, God teaches us that we should act Judiciously and remain fully aware while taking any decision. The story of Valmiki, tells us about this that all his family members, for whom, he was committing the robbery, denied to share the punishment, incurred by those sins.

Act Judiciously To Punish Someone: Dr.Poonam Singh Though, it is always preached to us that we should forgive someone who wrongs us. See, there is a difference between mistake and sin. Though, mistake is not committed by someone deliberately, yet, sin is committed, deliberately by someone. The Yogi’s, who have vowed to not to react, because they have to exhaust their Prarabdha karmas and become liberated, are supposed to forgive, everybody. But, the persons, living in the world, find it very difficult to forgive everybody and forget the sins committed by others. In this case, obviously, they should react and make the sinner realize his, sin. But, the manner, they are going to react must be rational and prudent one. So, that they will be able to punish the sinner, without ascalating the situation rather it will create another problem for them. This is the middle path i.e golden path for action. By restraining their anger, they will be able to take, prudent decisions.

दुःख महिम्न स्तोत्र  दुःख की स्तुति और महिमा: अगर साम्प्रदायिकता खत्म हो जाये तो नेता खत्म हो जायेंगे। अगर दंगे फसाद खत्म हो जाए तो पुलिस खत्म हो जायेगी। जनता चोटिल नहीं होगी तो डॉक्टर खत्म हो जायेंगे। पुलिस केस नहीं होगा तो वकील खत्म हो जायेंगे। वकील खत्म हो जायेंगे तो जज कैसे पैसा कमायेंगे?इसलिए, राजनीतिक अहंमात्रवाद के अनुसार सभी अपने ही अस्तित्व में विश्वास रखते हैं।अहंमात्रवाद के अनुसार किसी और की मुसीबत में ही मेरी बरक्कत है। अतः मुसीबतें बरकरार रखी जानी चाहिए। दुःख की स्तुति एवं महिमा: हमारा अस्तित्व आपसी निर्भरता का है। लेकिन यह निर्भरता दूसरों के दुःख से सम्बन्धित है। दूसरों के दुःख में ही हमारा सुख निहित है। अतः समाज में दुःख हमेशा बना रहना चाहिए। भगवान ने इसीलिए सबको दुःखी बनाया है ताकि उसके दुःख से दूसरा व्यक्ति सुखी हो सके। हम दूसरों के दुःख को देखकर आनंदित होते हैं। दुःख नहीं होगा तो ज्योतिषी बेकार हो जाएंगे। पंडितों का अस्तित्व भी दुःख से ही है। दुःखी व्यक्ति ही ज्यादा पूजा पाठ कराते हैं। बिमारियां न हों तो डॉक्टर खत्म हो जायेंगे। भगवान ने इसीलिए सबकुछ सोच समझ कर बना...

 Fearlessnessof yogi, extremist and soldier: A yogi has realised the perishability of body and is not attached to anything in this world. A yogi is beyond the realm of dharma and adharm. He is amoral. Now, his realm is cosmic consciousness. His activities synchronise with the cosmic law. He is in sync with the cosmic law i.e Brahman. That's why he is called Brahmachari. Also, he doesn't have anything to lose. That's why he is fearless. A soldier's fearlessness is duty bound and supported by patriotism. A soldier simply performs his duty but he follows in fact dharma because dharma means duty. It is said in the Gita that: स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयस्कर  परधर्मो  भयावह:।  To perform your duties is to follow dharma in true sense. And this dharma is based on the cosmic law. To maintain the cosmic order every one is supposed to perform his duties.
